Promoting the group's second studio recording, Humanitics, (to be released February 25, 2025 from Mahakala Music) the concert will feature selections from the band's forthcoming album, as well as tunes from its civil rights-inspired repertoire, including about the Little Rock Nine, and others.
Musicians for this show will include Kelley Hurt (voice), Christopher Parker (piano), Rodney Jordan(bass), Darrian Douglas (drums), Bobby LaVell (tenor saxophone), Marc Franklin (trumpet), Chad Fowler (alto saxophone), and special guest Treasure Shields Redmond (spoken word) and choreographer/researcher Ashley Tate.
